Dijana Iva Sesartić was born in Zagreb in 1966, where she finished elementary and high school. She studied at the art academies in Sarajevo, Prague and Zagreb. She graduated sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of prof. Stanko Jancic. She also studied at Stuttgart, Rome and Florence. Sesartić has been exhibiting more than twenty years in numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous art juryes, local, national and international group or thematic exhibitions and art symposiums. She is winner of the 1st Award of the III. Croatian Triannial of Self-Portrait Identities at the Prica Gallery, Samobor 2014. She is member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists of Zagreb since 1996, member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists of Split since 1998, member of the Matica Hrvatske since 2009, and member of the Croatian Association of Independent Artists since 2010. Sesartić lives and works in Solin.
