Sandra Sterle's exhibition To forget, to remember, to know combines artworks created during artist’s entire professional career into a single multimedia universe. Conceived, produced and installed as a work in progress, exhibition in a series of projects artist has executed in the disciplines and media of performance, audio and video projections, objects, documentary and fictional photographs and texts; attempts to unite the contradictions created by the circulation of artworks and data. The artist questions processes, patterns and mishaps of the construct of history, documentation, and the ability and role of language in shaping existing social representations.
